Headshots: Boston University

The loft in Providence is in full swing! I love being able to shoot headshots in the winter.  Otherwise I would have never met Molly and that would have been such a shame. Her spirit and energy are infectious and this being her first time ever having her headshots taken, I really wanted her to be scarred for ever doing it again. A senior in the prestigious and robust acting program at BU, Molly will be on her way in just a few short months to pursue her dreams in NYC. I have a feeling about this girl. Good things are going to happen for her. She has the voice and hair of Camryn Manheim and the eyes of Amanda Seyfried

Good Luck, Molly!

Family: Boston, MA

Fall is a perfect time for family photos in Massachusetts. You can not beat the colors! I am so glad we were able to schedule this family prior to the last leaf falling! You will recognize three of them from earlier posts, but notice they have added one more Little to their brood over the last year! Congratulations!!

Newborn: Boston, MA

Newborns always make me feel like I need to whisper...so I will tell you quietly that this is one of three amazing, brand new Littles I have had the pleasure to meet over the last 4 weeks. WOW! (...and the Winter wasn't even that cold this year!) Mom & Dad are both healthy and happy, as well as their little boy. YAY! At only 5 days old I think it is kind of amazing how he was mugging for the camera.
Disclaimer: Dear viewers, faithful followers of my work will observe that several of the images below are a bit of a departure for me. I rarely actually pose my Littles. (My opinion has always been that it is akin to dressing up innocent animals for one's amusement which, because of their inability to provide consent, should never be done.) However, I am embracing new things these days and decided to be open minded. Voila! I am actually really excited about these and might even do it again. This does not, however mean that I want to see the family Beagle wearing antlers at Christmas.

Congratulations McCoys!

Senior Portraits:: Westborough, MA:: "The Fiery Red Head"

The weather was precarious and I was praying that mother nature would look kindly on us last Friday. Thankfully, by the time my shoot with Zoe was to begin the weather was absolutely divine...albeit a bit cold! This young lady is lovely. Her brain and quirkiness balance her beauty in a way which makes her incredibly approachable and down to earth. Her love of all things Disney keeps her smiling and is a much needed contrast to the many hours activities, studying and applying to college demands of her this year. She told me that she was nervous for the shoot, but as you will see...she clearly is a natural.

Thank you to Mimi for trusting me about the weather and for allowing me to spend an afternoon with your terrific daughter.
