Senior Portraits:: Westborough, MA:: "The Fiery Red Head"

The weather was precarious and I was praying that mother nature would look kindly on us last Friday. Thankfully, by the time my shoot with Zoe was to begin the weather was absolutely divine...albeit a bit cold! This young lady is lovely. Her brain and quirkiness balance her beauty in a way which makes her incredibly approachable and down to earth. Her love of all things Disney keeps her smiling and is a much needed contrast to the many hours activities,studying and applying to college demands of her this year. She told me that she was nervous for the shoot, but as you will see...she clearly is a natural.

Thank you to Mimi for trusting me about the weather and for allowing me to spend an afternoon with your terrific daughter.

Headshots Boston - Matt

Matt is moving to L.A. at the end of August to finally pursue his career in film/television/radio full time and he couldn't skip town without some headshots to get him started. Part costume designer, part improv artist, part Starbucks barista, Matt's talents are varied and partnered with his connections to the industry he should have no problem in the sun of California; that is as long as he doesn't get sidetracked searching for Aaron Sorkin. [writer of West Wing, The Newsroom, The Social Network...and anything else worth watching!]

Engagement: Nicole + Keith - Boston, MA

It was beautiful...and hot...and sunny...and while Nicole was excited about the session, Keith was...["how shall I put it"?] very much NOT! Knowing there was trepidation, I informed them that having an adult beverage is sometimes helpful to couples before their session. A drink can ease the nerves and help everyone to relax.  As evidence by the image below, I think someone  misunderstood me and perhaps over indulged!

NEWBORN SESSION- Newton, MA

My "newborniest" Little yet! Could not get enough of him.  If you were only a few days old you'd be tired too...life outside the womb is pretty exhausting.

Abby + Eric

Over the holiday I had the wonderful fortune to meet up with Abby (hands down the funniest lady I know) & her partner Eric (now the smartest person I know...he does important science stuff.) Originally it was to be a Boston Engagement Session, but schedules and life got in the way, so we postponed until December where we could meet up in beautiful Western Pa in the midst of dreary winter. This part of the country is not known for its blue skies and cheerful days, but we managed to have a lovely afternoon in beautiful Preston Park thanks to the fact that this couple would shine even on the darkest of days!
